The Hill Primary School

Safeguarding

At The Hill, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children at school, home, online and within the local community. We expect all staff, volunteers and parents to share this commitment. This means that we have a Child Protection Policy and procedures in place which we consistently follow. Parents and carers are encouraged to read the Policy; a copy of the policy can be requested from school or please click here. It can also be found on the school website under school policies.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.

If you have a concern that a child is being harmed, is at risk of harm, or you receive a disclosure (intentionally or unintentionally) please contact the Designated Safeguarding Leads on  safeguarding@hill.reading.sch.uk
